Just wanted to let you know that information technology can be used
in Krsna Consciousness. His divine grace Srila Prabhupada used to
mention that many material things can be used in a spiritual way
and I humbly think this is one of these ways.
For example, I used to forget Ekadasi dates and/or not have the patience
to verify them regularly. Then, I thought of writing a program to do so.
So, a few years back, I created a database to store the exact ekadasi dates
in each month. Then, I wrote a program to warn me if an ekadasi is coming
within 3 or less days. Obviously, I can change the program to warn me
much before 3 days (eg 5 days ow whatever I want).
I wanted to share this with all of you and in case you wish to know more
please reply to me through this discussion and I will give you the details
on the forum or through email (whatever you prefer).
