About Me:: Um. Since I'm not looking for a relationship, my status doesn't matter.

I was initiated by Hansadutta back in the bad old days. Krsna plucked me out and tucked me safely away just weeks before all the craziness in the eighties started.

Favorite Music:: Je Anilo, sung with the haunting melody of separation.

What am I looking for:: Krsna katha and the association of devotees

Favorite Temples:: I only ever saw the Berkeley and Mt. Kailasa temples.

Favorite Foods:: 1. Cabbage cooked with asafoetida, nutmeg and fenugreek. 2. Sweetrice cooked with camphor and black pepper. 3. Spinach upma with nutmeg and asafoetida.

I have not been to this site for such a long time that I forgot that there were pending replies. Its really good to read your message, Let bygones be bygones and continue with a focussed mind on our spiritual quest. I have devotee friends from all spheres ie ISKCON, ritiviks, Gaudiya math, independent etc. In their own ways they are special to me. I love and cherish their association with no political overtones whatsoever. The key to survival here is to be neutral. Remember its not which association we come from that matters but the bhakti that we have developed by loving the Lord and His devotees.

Yes I am a lecturer and have been one for more than 15 years. My disciplines are management and communication. I teach in a local private college. Like my job very much and still learning the trade. Hope to one day render my services in the gurukuls. Its my dream to be engaged in serving the devotees of the Lord by becoming a teacher in the gurukuls. The past is gone and there is nothing that can be done about it. But we still have the present. We can change it if we want to. I have been practising KC for almost 30 years now but never took initiation from anyone todate. I was very skeptcal about the Guru thing. Looking at what has become of the system today I am glad that I did not take initiation. But I am doing my best in my own simple ways to keep my bhakti afloat. Yes I am a lecturer by profession in a private college. My subjects are communication and management. The devotees who first introduced me to KC were disciples of Hansadutta. Later they left him and took shelter of other gurus.
