Logandran (Logan1582)
27, Male
MY
Hometown:
Langkawi,Malaysia
Relationship Status:
Single
About Me:
My name is Logan. I am from Malaysia. I am a doctor.I studied for 6 years in Crimea State Medical University in Simferopol.I can speak English,Malaysian,Russian,Tamil and a bit German languages.

Life is a very long journey. I had been in Simferopol for a long time. At first I when I came here, it was very hard for me to live in a very different environment than in my country.

But,later, I am very happy to be in this place, and Simferopol and Ukraine will be my second home. The best of all, i got the the mercy of Srila Prabhupada and involved in Krishna Conciousness. It was the best thing that happened and is happening in my life.Devotees in my Simferopol temple are like my own family.

I am single, and interested in many things. Indeed, I can do a lot of things such as cooking tasty food[anyway pradas of Krishna is tasty after all), singing, dancing[in kirtans only ok]and others.

These principles is the basic of human life.

1) No gambling
Gambling makes the mind cloudy. It agitates the mind. You start thinking:
What are my chances? How much could I walk off with? What could I
do with my winnings? Even if you just play for the sake of playing,
gambling pulls the mind away from thinking about the real purpose
of life.

2)No intoxicants
No drugs, no alcohol, no cigarettes. The world
is already high enough-high on illusion, high on greed, high on
false power and false ego. Material substances like drugs are useless for spiritual
realization. They can bend the mind, but they can't free it. They
may take you up, but sooner or later they let you down.

3)No meat eating
No meat, no fish, no eggs. We can see other creatures as spiritual living beings.
Though these creatures may be less intelligent than we, they are
also God's children, our brothers and sisters. So why should we
kill them? If a child were to kill a less intelligent brother, do
you think the father would be pleased?
By the subtle laws of karma, the suffering we cause others will
come back looking for us.
By nature's arrangement we have plenty of fruits, vegetables,
grains, milk products, and other innocent food. We should content
ourselves with this and be happy.

4)No illicit sex
Everything has its place, and that includes sex. When sex takes
place within marriage, it's fine. You're accepting the pleasure,
and you're accepting the responsibility.
Otherwise, sex brings about entanglement, exploitation,
disappointment, and illusion. There is no sex between a man and woman in true love. If we only try to meet for a relationship base of hidden lust, then it
will be temporary because once the lust is satissfied, the meaning of the relationship is over. So, life would be interesting when we learn to show love in many ways than sex. When the time is ready, when we share our heart and soul together, surely we can share the body as well.True love is base on responsibilities, trust, duties, commitment and tolerance. Those who are afraid of these values, will go for a short pleasure and ends up suffering.

These principles will give us happiness and helps us to go back to our real home......

1) Chant minimum of 16 rounds daily.
2) Worship Deity daily
3) Read Spiritual literature daily
4) Association with devotees [THE MOST IMPORTANT]

Now I am in Langkawi ,Malaysia and I really want to progress in my Krishna Conscious Life.Pless bless me so that I can Serve Guru and Krishna. It is tough for me here!

HOW I WAS IN KRISHNA CONSCIOUSNESS?
Well,I was a modern indian guy who foolishly taught that being european was the best way.I went to study in ukraine. so,european culture....................
Well,I was in Simferopole, but,I get to know about 'sort of indian festival' called ratra-yatra in Alchevsk. So,I went there. I met a devotee and spend time.Well,I was amazed to know that the devotees understand vedic culture, sastra, etc better than me.I became vegetatrian(first step of the principles) I was very interested.
So,then I went to the temple. I am the only indian surrouded by all whites:)))I was very amazed to see the way they pray with full devotion.(gone are my days visiting many temples in malaysia, not have devotion and just follow what people/parents did)(and i reliaze that following modern culture ends in sufferings and only opens the gate to hell)
The next time i went to the temple,I met my maharaj and maharaj gave a very nice lecture about the origin of ratra-yatra that i still remember like that day.I got mahaprasad.
The next day,my life changed when I pulled the rope of Jaganath.I am a new person and can never be the person I was before.(gurudev, srila prabhupada,gaura-nitai,jaganath,krishna thank you thank you very much because of your mercy I am able to at least know my supreme father and my real family)(I am a fallen, dirty, and worst soul but still you saved me)
So,after the trip I returned to Simferopole, and found the temple there.
By association with devotees,I learned more and start chanting.
Also involved in helping to organize 'kirtans' for the foreign students in my university and helping in major festivals in my temple.I had a krishna family there-I have fathers,mothers,brothers,sisters............and i lost them(at least materially) when I finished my studies and need to come back to Malaysia.
Well, now,i have no association with devotees because in my place there are no temple or devotee. My parents and all the family members are against me because they are in Maya and heard wrong information about ISKCON.But,soon,i will move to another place for work.I have my own life which I want in full(as much as I can as I am a doctor and have many material duties) Krishna Consciousness.
I hope can be among devotees,I hope can eat only krishna prasad,I hope can think only of krishna.
I lrealized now, that it is easy to be a doctor, engineer, anybody but being a devotee is tough.Only mercy of Guru Krishna can help me.
Favorite Music:
Bhajans and Kirtans.
I don't listen to anything else
What am I looking for:
Devotees.
Favorite Temples:
Kiev Temple, and of Course Our Simferopol Temple
Favorite Foods:
Halwa(this dish only available in europe), and maha maha prasad from Maharajs.

Own Krishna Janmastami Celebration

On midnight of 24th August,I celebrated Krishna Janmastami in my room. I fasted whole day, watched Mahabratta(the part of krishna's birth),read Back to Godhead magazine, and of course chanted and remember HIM.
I did a small prayer and cooked 'kesari' for Krishna.
