About Me:: I am 52 yrs. old, raising two teenage sons, and taking care of my elderly mother. I run a simple lawn care business. I'm a strict vegetarian, enjoy reading Srila Prabhupada's books and chanting the mahamantra. I am a former member of the Radha Damodara TSKP traveling buses ('74-'77). For a couple months I had the very close association of Visnujana Maharaja and Tamal Krsna Goswami (the highlight of my life) I was with Visnujana Maharaja and others from our bus party playing water sports in the Ganges River the day before he disappeared in Sridhama Mayapura, India in '76.

Favorite Music:: classic bhajans and kirtans, anything related to Krishna. I especially like Visnujana, Bharadvaja and Vaiyasaki. I must admit I still like the classic rock of the '70s too.

What am I looking for:: to re-connect with some old godbrothers, make new devotee friends, and ultimately reawaken my eternal love for Krsna.

Favorite Foods:: SWEETS! halavah, sweet rice, gulab jamuns, laddhus, malpuras.

Planning A Trip To India

My friend and I are planning a trip to India for 3 months. We want to see and experience as much as possible, including a short visit to Sri Lanka, but realize that 3 mo. is not enough time to visit all the places on our list. We will definitely spend some time in both Mayapur and Vrndavan. That's for sure. I also very much want to visit Puri and Tirupati. Remembering Sanjaya

It was early 1975 when I had the good fortune to meet Sanjaya. I was a member of Drstadyumna's RDTSKP bus, the first expansion of the original Radha Damodara bus. Farewell To Janakinatha

Janakinatha was my friend and mentor. He joined our Radha Damodara bus party in '76 or '77, having come from the Miami temple. He was knowledgeable and staunch, and had a great sense of humor. I had the opportunity to get to know him well when he and I were sent out ahead of the bus to obtain permits in various cities and towns for our sankirtana activities. We are running an Gurukul Ashrama for poor children in Bangalore. Currently we are building a nice kitchen so that we can cook efficiently for the Deities and serve that Mahaprasada to children. We give free education and food to 40 children and orphans. Srila Gurudeva will be visiting our farm in September 2nd week. We would like to complete the kitchen work before then. Well you are a trained soldier of Srila Prabhupada and you staying to yourself may not be good and as per the instructions of Prabhupada. We are all here to serve and spread his mission. We should his glories all through out instead and make others realize that he is the true servant of Krishna. Why don't you make it up to join ISKCON, Bangalore and help us in serving Srila Prabhupada more efficiently.

Regarding GBC approved gurus, I do not know the number. But I have read that around 80 gurus were approved by GBC and many among them fell. I am not aware exactly how many are functioning currently. As per my knowledge goes only HH JPS, HH Gopala Krishna Maharaja, HH Bhakti Caru Maharaja, HH Bhakti Vikasa Swami and many many....

Kindly accept my humble obeisances at your feet. Although I am very younger to you in age in fact less than your half age, I feel quite embarrassing while giving you any sort of information. Please forgive me if I commit any offenses in due course of my conversation with you. Think me as your ignorant servant.

Prabhu, I am very happy that you were atleast interested to know the struggle of ISKCON Bangalore in reestablishing the truth that Shrila Prabhupada is the spiritual master of the movement and no one can replace him.

Well, I do not have any realistic idea of what is ISKCON Today except the ones which I have been reading at internet and listening from few devotees and personally seeing some of the temples handled by the gurus.

The charm which I have seen in the videos of Srila Prabhupada of ISKCON earlier was not found by me when I visited the temples which were personally established by His Divine Grace. Some temples like Bhubaneshvar, Delhi, etc, are not charming and vibrant. I do not know the reason behind it but I feel strongly that this is all due to their replacing Shrila Prabhupada with themselves as Gurus. Even preaching and book distribution is not upto mark in the temples. It is very rare that one finds the temple selling purely only the books authored by SP otherwise you need to peep in through loads of books written by current so-called acharyas whose books are atleast 3 times expensive than that of SP's. The situation at ISKCON Puri was so worst that I feel embarrassed to describe it to you.

Nonetheless ISKCON Bangalore led personally by Srila Prabhupada is doing most wonderful and amazing preaching cum expansion activities. In just the time span of 11 years we have around 20 branches across the globe, prasadam is distributed to a million people everyday through Akshaya patra, there are around 300 fully dedicated devotees, book distribution worth lakh a day and many many other activities.

Infact ISKCON Bangalore is the only temple currently which celebrated Vaishnava festivals on a very very grand scale.

This is with respect to ISKCON Today.

Well there is nothing called authorized gurus. Srila Prabhupada never authorized a guru to take be the part of disciplic succession. All current gurus of ISKCON are bogus and have corrupted the ISKCON centres with their deviated philosophies. And they are all planning to usurp this beautiful temple and its branches again to spoil it.

Regarding Narayana Maharaja, I can tell you that whomever I have asked, they say he is a sahajiya.

Except ISKCON Bangalore and its branches most of the ISKCON temples follows not single guru but multiple gurus.

Again thanks for your concern about me. By the mercy of Srila Prabhupada I am fine in the service of Krishna and aspire for more service.
