I’m Michael. I’ve lived a straight edge- vegan lifestyle for the past few years and had begun a search of spirituality and understanding after hitting a rough spot in my life. I had been thrown out of my house thus living on the streets for 2 weeks. Each day I read in the local library to fill up time. First I was reading on Buddhism and it made some sense to me but I found contradictions and teachings I just couldnt grasp. I came across a book on Hare Krishna and became completely absorbed. So many things made sense and I found it difficult to raise argument against what I was reading. Since then i’ve been back home and made a trip to San Diego to experience the Hare Krishna Temple in Pacific Beach. Im back to irvine and attending the Laguna Beach Temple. I continue to practice living a life along the path of Hare Krishna by progressing spiritually and participating in the Krishna community.
